I have had Savannah, Georgia on my bucket list for oh – maybe a decade? I finally got to see this charming city all for myself with my husband a couple of weeks ago AND experience a luxury stay at Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah, Georgia ;)!

It Is Very Centrally Located

You truly cannot beat the location of the Perry Lane Hotel in the historic district of Savannah ;).

It is centrally located off the beaten path about two blocks away from St John the Baptist Cathedral, Savannah Theater, and Chippewa Square (THE Forrest Gump Famous square-where the line “Life is Like a Box of Chocolates” went down in US history), and my personal favorite – Fancy Parkers Market!!

The location allows for easy access to the most popular things to see, do and eat but is not right in the middle of the city’s party scene.

We valet parked our car on our first evening upon check in and didn’t pull it out until it was time to leave three days later!

I.E. – you can walk everywhere from this hotel…

No Detail is Too Small

Perry Lane Hotel has thought of everything!

They hand you a glass of champagne upon check in and IT IS UNLIMITED! Meaning – anytime I wanted, I could walk up to the front desk attendant and ask for a refill!

Don’t worry I didn’t do that (I actually had a really bad sore throat on this trip 😳) – but still the fact that I COULD IF I WANTED TO – was all I needed to know!

The amenities in the bathroom are also from one of my absolute favorite bath and body products companies – Molton Brown :).

I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you that the water pressure in that shower above was seriously the BEST I have ever experienced… I now need to figure out how to get that pressure at home 😂.

The honor bar in our room was incredibly well stocked… now while I didn’t eat it all- I definitely could not resist those gummy bears!

Other daily amenities included with your stay are:

• Two medium hot or cold drip coffees from the lobby coffee bar Bowerbird
• Two cocktails in the lobby bar (besides the free flowing champagne!)
• Free ice cold water available at all times
• Chocolate chip cookies in room upon arrival
• Luxury courtesy transport within a two mile radius
• Use of house bicycles

I mentioned above that I had a really bad sore throat when we checked in… so most of my sustenance the first few days came from ice cream.

And lucky me – world famous ice cream was available right in the lobby!

They Have a Partnership with Benedetto Guitars

Not sure who would appreciate this little fact – however when my husband saw the Benedetto guitar in the lobby and asked the concierge about it – it became the highlight of his trip!

Perry Lane Hotel has a relationship with Benedetto guitars that offers tours of their facility for guests.

My husband could not have scheduled this tour any faster!

I do have to say for a non-musically inclined spouse – it was actually quite interesting to see and hear how these high end jazz guitars are made.

And FYI – they are custom made by hand!!

The Rooms are Cozy and Hip

The decor in the rooms is probably one of the best reasons to stay at this hotel.

The king size room that we stayed in was nicely sized. And the corner sitting area was perfect for morning coffee drinking ;).

The Rooftop Bar and Pool

This reason pretty much speaks for itself I think… but I will add – the cocktails were yummy and the view is amazing!

We had rain every evening we stayed at the hotel however I have read it is one of the best places in Savannah to watch the sunset!

My husband and I did a lot of walking around charming Savannah, Georgia during our three day visit. Some days as much as 20,000 steps.

We would not have wanted to make our homebase for our adventures any place but this hip and luxurious hotel!
