Add Simple Spring Touches to Your Entryway and Living Spaces

March 9, 2023

Looking for ways to add simple spring touches to your entryway and living spaces? Spring is in the air and adding little touches here and there can really help you enjoy this season of renewal and joy ;).

Well that sure came up fast – didn’t it?

I am not going to complain though because I just love the colors and decorative items that this season brings.

I mean really – it seems impossible to not love little bunnies and pastel flowers in random places throughout your home ;).

This post is part of a bloggers home tour series where I have joined multiple friends to share some of our best spring decorating ideas.

If you are coming here from Tamara at Citrine Living – hello and welcome! Her home and how she uses the color blue just speak to me and makes me feel calm. I imagine you feel the same way while being inspired by her ;).

As far as being here at Pasha is Home – I hope you enjoy my simple tips for where to put bunnies and flowers in your own spring home ;).

But most of all, I hope you enjoy the inspiration you will find here at PIH for everything you could think of for living your best life!

I like to think of this as a place for us to become friends and journey through life together as I share my best home, life, and travel inspiration with you!

If you are looking for more scoop on who I am – be sure to visit my ‘About Me’ page and please say hi in any comment section you find on my website!

And if you are loving what you are finding here – be sure to join my email list – I can 100% promise you I will not be spamming your inbox with daily (heck even weekly) emails. But I personally feel they are a fun way to connect with you and remind you of the PIH goings ons ;).

As an Amazon Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases. Some of the other links on this site are also affiliate links, which means I might earn a small commission if you love something as much as I do at no additional cost to you… but I only recommend what I actually like myself!

In the Entryway

If you have read any of my previous decor posts, you likely know that I have two favorite spaces in my home – the entryway and my kitchen…

Both spaces have been remodeled since we moved into this home in 2003. And I imagine their current state is permanent because I just love the look of the German schmeared brick floor and the wainscoting with the hooks in the entryway and the new bifold window in my kitchen!

You can find all the information on products and paint colors for any space in my home on my ‘Home Tour’ pages btw ;).

Back to what I changed about my entryway for the spring season:

I brought my favorite large vase back to the entryway console table with some cherry blossom stems.

The linen book above is a favorite of mine that I have multiple of around my house and love that it can be used for every season (the above is the medium sized book).

The ceramic eggs and bunny were purchased a few years ago and sadly are no longer available however I have linked some other options below for you!

I also added a new pale blue pillow to my entryway chair this year and am 100% in love with the gorgeous pattern and color on it!

In the Living Room

My entryway opens up to my living room.

In fact, the living room is what you see when you open my front door (not my entryway which is off to the right upon entering my home).

Which basically means – besides the front porch, this room is going to be your first impression of my home if you knock on my door ;).

I have kept the furniture on the smaller side in this room so as to not overwhelm the space and fill it up :).

Truth be told, while I love the look of the mini sofa I currently have in here, I do actually have my eye on a newer settee for the space. Stay tuned on that decision…

As far as spring decor in this space goes, I did the same thing here that I did on my entryway table above.

Added cherry blossom stems to a large vase and a bunny on the faux mantel.

The stools are a new addition this winter and I am just enamored with how classy and grown up they make this space look!! It feels like it has taken me decades to furnish my home with the items I love (and did not actually have in college 🤪).

But it is all slowly coming together ;).

Sadly, the mini pink wreath above was purchased many years ago and I have never been able to find anything close to resembling it for you. I love how delicate it is for spring season but am so sad I have never found anything like it to share…

In the Family Room

Besides our kitchen, the family room is probably the most used space in our home. I think that is probably what most people would say about their homes – don’t you think??

Again, the only simple change for the spring season that I made here was to change my winter stems out for tulips ;).

These tulips are my absolute favorite and are placed sporadically throughout my house.

At my Easter brunch gathering last year, I had multiple guests even ask if they are real (I used them for my outdoor Easter tablescape)!!!

Absolutely beautiful and calming. I cannot tell you how many times i put the mcgee & co vase that’s on your console table into my shopping cart during their sale last week but i just couldn’t get past the $38 shipping fee. Now that i see it in your entryway, i have regrets. How many stems did you use in it?
