We are just days away from the first day of summer and some of the best faux flower finds for summer can be found right here in this blog post ;)!

Faux flowers are my jam! I just do not do well with any type of plant that needs attention (ahem watering).

That’s not to say that I don’t buy fresh flowers every time I go to Trader Joe’s. However ever since the pandemic – Instacart and I have become besties so TJ’s doesn’t see me nearly as often as it did over three years ago ;0.

Thus – making sure my faux flowers look so good that I am not upset that I only have fresh flowers in my house a handful of times a year nowadays :).

And if you are reading this post, I am guessing you are kind of in the same boat (or at least I hope you are!).

Faux Hydrangeas

There are a few flowers that symbolize summer and hydrangeas are one of them ;).

Fun fact – I had a HUGE hydrangea bush in the front yard of a house I was renting back when my husband was a resident in Sacramento and always had neighbors stopping by and asking if they could cut some stems off of it.

Being as how I was in my late 20’s and really did not appreciate said hydrangea bush – to this day, I think dang it – I really should have clipped stems from that gorgeous plant more often!!

Oh well – now I know I guess ;).

My very favorite faux hydrangea stem is this one from Magnolia Market (in the photos below). And FYI – that link is completely non-commissionable – which is proof that it truly is one of the best faux hydrangea stems I have found – and I have hydrangea stems from multiple sources ;)!

I have them on the desk in my family room as well as in my favorite vase in my entryway ;).

My second favorite hydrangea stems are these blue and white bundles (which are on clearance right now too!). The blue floral pitcher is no longer available but I have linked a few substitutes below for you ;).

Equally as pretty as the above faux hydrangeas are these white stems and blue stems I have on my family room coffee table.

White Flower Stems

One of my favorite summer faux stems photos is with the sun hitting the white flower stems on my living room coffee table ;).

Sadly the exact stems below are not available however I have linked some equally beautiful options below ;).

Faux Lavender

Finding faux lavender stems that don’t look super fake can be a little tricky.

I have purchased my share of faux lavender and these stems are the least faux ones I have found ;).

Dried Flowers

Dried flowers are my favorite little extra for dinner parties but I also have them in various places around my house – like the kitchen, living room mantel, and the powder bath ;).
