Looking for inspiration on how to fallify your fireplace mantel for the season? Here are my ideas for the two fall fireplace mantels in my house.
I am making every effort to keep my home’s fall decor simple and neutral this season.
And that includes the two fall fireplace mantels in my living and family rooms.
My color scheme for this fall season is yellow, ivory, and gold.
You can read more about my fall neutral decor here!
I prefer the minimal look on my fall mantels to the busier look. It makes for easier cleaning too ;)!

Fallify Your Fireplace Mantel
Neutral Faux Fall Stems
It was pretty easy to find fall stems in yellows, ivories and golds this year.
You can never go wrong with Michaels, Home Goods, Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel or Grandin Road on the higher price range ;).
My wheat sheath from above can be found here!
I just purchased these corn husk stems and love the high quality of them!
Plus they come in a pack of three (which is what I have in this Magnolia Market vase ;).
The quince slices come in a decent sized box and can be used everywhere for the fall season as well as holiday season next!
Faux Pumpkins
Mini faux pumpkins can literally be found everywhere right now!
If you don’t find the color you are looking for – just do like I did and spray paint the ones you find!
Easy peasy when they are such a little object ;).
I found plenty of white and gold mini pumpkins on Amazon here though!
The ceramic pumpkin from my family room mantel in a photo above is from Crate and Barrel last year and is sadly not available again this year.
Candleholders
I honestly have never been a fan of pillar candleholders…
Until now.
Funny how that happens.
The only pair of pillar candleholders I have ever owned are a Waterford pair that my mom gave me as an engagement gift!
And those have only been used as decor in my china display cabinet in my kitchen for the last twenty years 😳.
But I started seeing them in Instagram photos and thought – wait – I kinda like how those look now!
I found these gold candle holders at the beginning of summer and am planning on using them for the rest of the year as well as with my winter 2022 decor ;).
And I bought these from Magnolia Market online last year.
Hurricanes and Vases
Hurricanes and vases are the perfect accessories to help fallify your fireplace mantel.
I have used my gold hurricane for multiple seasons now and just love it!
It is one of my favorite Fall/Christmas/Winter decor pieces because it is simple yet elegant.
And can just be filled easily with anything appropriate for the season!
You can find the metal rolling laundry basket here.
The small pumpkin pillow is from my good friend Kendra’s pillow shop called Linen and Ivory. You can save 10% by using code Pashaishome.
The larger fringed pillow is available here.
I truthfully ordered a new vase for my family room fall fireplace mantel about two weeks ago and it still hasn’t come.
In fact I think it might have been broken in transit and is being returned because the status has said in transit since August 20th now…
However, I already had the above mentioned white vase on an upstairs bookcase and now I am thinking that new vase isn’t necessary anyway!
Blanket Ladder with Cozy Throws
A fall fireplace mantel would not be complete without throw blankets somewhere near it!
And the perfect way to display these cozy blankets is with a ladder.
I have had my ladder for what feels like FOREVER.
It comes and goes out of storage as I feel the need for it.
I don’t leave it out in spring or summer but fall and winter are the perfect seasons for displaying your warm throw blankies ;).
The plaid and striped throws above are from many many years ago. However I found a similar one here for you from the same company!
The ivory throw is new this year and I love it so much – I bought three of them!!
It can most certainly be used all year round so I figured it was worth the investment to purchase three of them ;).
I hope this post was inspiring in helping you fallify your fireplace mantel.
I know there are sooo many pretty and fun new fall decor items out there right now – Target has really upped their decor game lately! Did you check out my favorite new fall finds post last month? You can find that here.
But if you are on a tight budget, I am sure you can wander your house and find many of these simple decor items around your own home to use for a fall fireplace mantel ;)!
Last summer, I updated my fireplace surround with paint! You can find that post here if you are needing ideas on how to update your fireplace as well.
