Looking for how to use Easter bunny decor in a classy way? This post will show you five places to put those bunnies without looking tacky ;)!
Easter bunnies and eggs are such a fun and easy way to decorate your home for this spring holiday.
While I have close to twenty boxes of Christmas decor in my garage, I thankfully only have one box of Easter decor ;).
Boy does that help with my home’s lack of storage too!!
That box of Easter decor is pretty much all ceramic bunnies and an assortment of eggs I have collected over the years.
So every year when I pull that box out, it probably takes me less than an hour to put the few decor pieces out.
And yet, it’s enough for anyone that walks into my house to know – yup it’s almost Easter ;)!
At the bottom of this post, I have listed Easter posts from 17 of my fellow blogging friends. It’s a huge assortment – from DIY Easter crafts to tablescapes to Easter brunch menu items!!
I know you will have fun looking at the list and being inspired (hopefully by ALL of the posts!).
If you are coming here from Cynthia at Vintage and Grace Living – I hope you enjoyed her ideas for Spring centerpieces. I always love seeing what other people have done to decorate their tables and then apply it to what I have for my own home!
And as always – if you are new here – WELCOME!
My purpose with this blog is to encourage and empower you to live your best life!
You will find all sorts of stories on my little corner of the web – from my journey with empty nest syndrome (boy was that HARD!!) to my tips for places I have adventured to (including most recently the Cotswolds in the English countryside) to every thing home (DIY, decor, etc etc etc!).
I hope you are loving what you see and will stick around by subscribing to my email list so that we can be better friends ;).
Okay – enough about that – let’s get to the bunnies – shall we?

How to Use Easter Bunny Decor in a Classy Way
On the Kitchen Open Shelves
If you’ve been around for a while – you know we recently changed our small kitchen sink window to be a bifold window taking up that whole wall.
AND I LOVE IT! Wish I would have done it YEARS AGO!
There is even an entire blog post written about those kitchen changes fyi – you can read that here.
So this is actually our first Easter holiday with the new kitchen and two sets of open shelving instead of the one we had previously.
If you are on the fence about open shelving in your kitchen – I am here to tell you DO IT!!! Read this blog post for all my reasons why!!
Truth be told – I am not only going to share the Easter bunnies I used and where in this blog post – I am also going to show you where I put these cute egg nests and even some Easter eggs!
The cake stand was a recent find that I was so excited to use on my open shelves. I imagine I will be keeping it out most of the year :).
However when I took a step back and looked at the cake stand on my top shelf – it looked too short.
So I simply added two of my favorite linen covered books and voila!
I bought this three tiered marble stand last fall and love how it completes this corner in my kitchen.
I thought I would use it for coffee mugs in that corner for my husband (I do not drink coffee) – but for whatever reason – he only uses the white mugs on the shelf.
I am yet to use it to display desserts at a gathering but I anticipate that happening soon!
By the Kitchen Sink
Even though the bunnies by my kitchen sink are not actually 3-D, I couldn’t write a bunny post without linking my bunny towels!!
On the Kitchen Island
My kitchen island decor somehow seems to be highlighted more now that we have that whole wall of windows behind it 🤷♀️.
But I am here for it!
The white round pedestal is an after Christmas purchase that again will likely be used all the way until fall decor comes out in August…
In my opinion – it kinda completes the whole look ;).
Oh – and at publish time of this post – the beautiful blue flowered pitcher is on sale!!
Yes – I switched the bunny out for an egg nest after they arrived 😂 – moved the bunny to another shelf in the room though ;0!
I have those faux white tulips all over my house right now and have been frequently asked – are they real?!
You can find my favorite ceramic Easter egg here (I have three in the small and one in the large 👍🏻).
On the Kitchen Table
My favorite color is blue. So last year when this chambray line came out – I knew I was going to love most of the items in it!
However, I stuck to the table throw and ceramic eggs so that it didn’t feel overboard ;).
And yes – I still have my over the table rod up from my Galentine’s Day party!
In fact – it is a bestseller for me on Instagram ;).
I am probably going to hang Easter eggs on it for Easter brunch (if I get around to that that is ;0).
On the Bar Cart
As you can see – there are actually TWO bunnies on this bar cart that is in the space in between my dining room and family room ;0.
My bar cart is no longer being sold – and actually all three shelves were the wood color before I painted the top shelf white. Honestly – when I started my hunt for a bar cart, I could not believe how hard of a hunt it was!
I mean – there are some EXPENSIVE bar carts out there! Who knew?!
I also use an old child’s desk as a side table in my family room and have a bowl with ceramic easter eggs on it. Just a little bit of Easter ;).
In the Entryway and Mantels
Last week I wrote a post with how I decorated my entryway and living spaces for spring this year (with links to everything ;)).
But since I do actually have a bunny on my entryway table and living room mantel – I figured I should mention them in a post ABOUT BUNNIES 😂.
And very frustratingly, none of the exact items in the above photo are being sold anymore ;/.
I have found some other options below though ;).
In the Powder Bathroom
And the last place I put a bunny – the powder bath!!
Just a mini ceramic one – but still – cute right?
I hope you found my tips for how to use Easter bunny decor in a classy way helpful (and that you agree that I didn’t go overboard or use them in a tacky way 😂).
Don’t forget that this post also has more inspiration from my fellow blogger friends if you keep on scrolling ;).
My good friend Kim from Shiplap and Shells is sharing how to make an enchanting Easter centerpiece using flowers and cabbage – how fun does that sound?! If you love crafting – you will love everything she shares. Be sure to head over (after you read my post of course!) and take a peek!
