Looking for how to make your home cozy for winter? This post is filled with the neutral warm winter decor I use throughout the season!
I cannot lie to you – I kinda love how my house looks in January. Now don’t get me wrong – I LOVE Christmas (as I am sure you are already aware ;0). Consequently, I leave my holiday decor up until New Year’s Eve.
However come January 1st?? That’s a whole different story at Pasha is Home.
It took me three full days last week to get everything boxed up, labeled, and stored away all nice and neatly.
And now I am ready to make my home cozy for winter!!
In addition, I am joining some AMAZING fellow bloggers who are also sharing their winter decor ideas. Be sure to scroll to the bottom for links to all of their inspiration too!

Four Items to Make Your Home Cozy for Winter
Books
I realized the other day that I currently own over 15 coffee table books ;0!
And that about five years ago, I owned two… one from my honeymoon in Italy and one from my dad about Grand Teton National Park.
So I guess you could say – either my tastes have changed or I have finally joined the adult world of using books as decor 😂.
All that to say – I have coffee table books EVERYWHERE in my house. On my family room mantel, on both of my coffee tables, on my bar cart, on my bedroom dresser.
I think you get the drift – don’t you?
So here are a few photos of where I use coffee table books as neutral warm winter decor ;).
I also use fabric covered books in various places in my home. I purchased a few different sets of them from a good friend who owns a small shop on Etsy.
They are a really good staple to use in your home year round – especially if you get neutral colored books!
Greenery
When my Christmas decor is actually in the house, my third car garage is filled with all of my everyday faux trees.
It is so filled that my husband usually comments – what’s with the forest in the garage?
Every time.
But obviously now that it is no longer the holiday season – the faux trees have come back into the house ;). And I even found a new one recently that I loooovve!! (see photo below ;))
Candles
Candles forever and ever.
And for every season.
Here are some of my everyday favorites and how I use them around my house ;).
The above candles, mini olive wreaths, and scale are all from Magnolia Market from four years ago. I surprisingly have never lit these two candles!!
The scale is not offered at Magnolia Market anymore however I did find a similar one here for you!
And the mini pillow is from the cute shop of a good Instagram friend of mine – Nest of Petals ;).
Trays & Bowls
I use trays to pull together multiple items on my coffee table, kitchen table, and bar cart. And bowls are a fun item to use with the wide assortment of decorative balls and vase fillers that are so widely available nowadays!
Truth be told – I struggled with what to put in the bowls on my kitchen and dining room tables this year… and then at the last minute, I found the perfect neutral orbs and flowers for both bowls!!
I hope this post was helpful and motivating for you in looking for how to make your home cozy for winter. Every January 1st I get so overwhelmed and sad with the take down of Christmas decor. And then by January 15th I love the cozy feel of my minimalist neutral warm winter decor ;).
Funny how that happens – isn’t it?
