I have put together a roundup of my favorite fall treats for you to enjoy this season with your family and friends!
There is nothing better than all the goodies that fall season brings to a kitchen!
Well MAYBE – Christmas treats.
Although, I will actually be baking my ginger snap and pumpkin cookies pretty much once a week from now until New Years.
Okay – that maaaaayyy be a slight exaggeration – but not by much!
I was trying to figure out what recipe to share with you again this fall season and when I couldn’t pick just one favorite – I decided a roundup is in order ;).
I am also joining some incredible blogging friends to share some of their own fall treats as well. The links to all of their recipes is at the bottom of this post so don’t forget to scroll down to see what they are sharing today!

In a rush?
If you’ve been following my blog for a while – you know that pumpkin cookies are my family’s favorite cookie!
Like – not just in fall.
However, I just don’t seem to make this cookie outside of the September to December window.
And really there is absolutely no reason why I don’t make them January through August.
In fact – pumpkin is healthy (let’s not talk about the cup of sugar in the cookies – ummkay?).
And it also brings to mind cozy feelings so I think I just talked myself into making them in late January ;).
You can add white or milk chocolate chips to the pumpkin recipe linked below to give it more flavor.
I tried the white chocolate chips once and the fam did not like it but that isn’t to say your gang would not enjoy the extra kick!
I started making apple crisp back when my husband and I lived in New York as newlyweds (and graduate students) and apple picking in the fall was one of our favorite things to do!
I remember picking an entire bushel of apples and realizing – well I better come up with A LOT of apple recipes for all these apples now!
We haven’t gone apple picking since we moved to San Diego (sadly it just isn’t the place for apple picking…) however that doesn’t stop me from making my husband’s favorite dessert.
Which is apple crisp if you didn’t realize that from above ;).
Ginger snaps are probably one of my own personal favorite cookies ;).
Actually – it’s a tie between good old fashioned chocolate chip cookies, the above pumpkin cookies, and ginger snaps.
The great thing about ginger snaps is they could very easily pass for a year round treat.
Once again though – this recipe only comes out September through December. I really need to stop depriving myself of my favorite treats the rest of the year – don’t I???
By the way – not on this list but equally as delicious is my super easy chocolate chip dessert that you should check out if you are looking for something chocolately ;)!
